How to Accept USDT (TRC20) Payments on Your Online Store

USDT on TRON is the most used stablecoin for payments in many markets: cheap, fast and familiar. Here's how to accept it on your store with automatic matching of payments to orders.

In much of Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, "pay in crypto" usually means USDT on TRON (TRC20). Transfers settle in about a minute and cost far less than on Ethereum.

Why not just post your address?

Many sellers start by sharing a TRON address and asking customers to send USDT and a screenshot. It breaks down quickly:

  • You can't tell which payment belongs to which order.
  • Customers send the wrong amount or on the wrong network.
  • Checking every transfer by hand doesn't scale.

Doing it properly

  1. Add your TRON USDT address in Vulta under Wallets.
  2. Create a payment link or embed the checkout for each product or order.
  3. The customer chooses USDT → TRON, sees a QR code and an exact amount — each request gets a unique amount so it can be matched automatically.
  4. Vulta detects the transfer on-chain, matches it to the order and marks it paid — and can fire a webhook to your store (Max).

Avoiding wrong-network payments

Your checkout shows the network next to the address, and the payer picks the network before the address is shown. Offer the networks your customers use: TRON for USDT, Polygon or Solana for USDC, BSC for exchange users.

Fees

Vulta takes 0% of payments. The sender pays the TRON network fee. There's no withdrawal fee because the USDT goes straight to your address.

Also accept cards

Not everyone holds USDT. Add card payments to the same link so other customers can pay by card and you receive USDC.

Frequently asked questions

What if a customer sends USDT on the wrong network?

Funds sent on a network your address doesn't support may be lost or need manual recovery. Your checkout shows the network clearly; only offer networks your wallet supports.

What happens if the customer sends slightly less?

Underpayments are detected as partial, so you can decide whether to ask for the rest or refund.

Do I need TRX for anything?

Not to receive. You need a little TRX for network fees only when you send USDT out of your wallet.

Can I accept USDT on other networks too?

Yes — USDT on Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Solana and more. Add an address for each network you want to offer.
