How Vulta Works: A Complete Guide

Vulta is a non-custodial payment infrastructure platform for freelancers, remote workers, and independent businesses. This guide explains how every part of the platform works, from creating your first payment link to receiving payment in your wallet.

The Core Concept

Traditional payment platforms hold your money until you withdraw it. Vulta doesn’t. When someone pays through a Vulta payment link, the funds go directly from the payer to your crypto wallet. Vulta provides the checkout experience — not the custody.

This architectural choice means:

• Your funds can never be frozen by Vulta
• There’s no withdrawal process — funds are in your wallet immediately
• You maintain full control and ownership

Setting Up Your Account

Registration takes under 60 seconds. Enter your email and password or sign in with Google. No phone verification. No identity documents.

Adding wallets: Vulta supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TRON, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, and BSC. You can connect MetaMask, Phantom, or TrustWallet directly, or manually add any wallet address. You can add multiple wallets and organize them into groups.

Branding (Pro): Add your logo and customize your checkout colors — page background, button color, text color, and more. Your payment pages will reflect your brand.

Payment Links

The core product. A payment link is a URL your clients open to pay you.

Creating a link:

• Click “New Payment Link”
• Set amount (fixed amount, or open for clients to enter any amount)
• Add a description
• Choose which wallet receives payment
• Optionally: add password protection, set expiry
• Click Create

What your client sees: A clean, professional checkout page with your branding showing the payment amount, description, and two payment options: card or crypto.

Sharing: Copy the link URL and send anywhere. Each link also generates a QR code for scanning.

Payment Methods

Card payments (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) are processed through a licensed payment partner. Your client pays in their local fiat currency. The processor converts to crypto and sends directly to your specified wallet. Card payments require your wallet to have a USDC Polygon address for settlement.

Crypto payments: Your client sends directly to your wallet address. The checkout displays the wallet address and QR code for the network they choose. Your dashboard polls for on-chain confirmation automatically.

One-Off Payment Requests

For specific clients and projects, you can create a payment request with additional details:

• Payer email (for sending the link directly)
• External reference ID (for your own records)
• Expiry date
• Automatic reminder interval (Vulta sends follow-up emails)

Recurring Client Subscriptions

Set up automatic recurring payments for retainer clients:

• Enter client email and name
• Set the interval (daily, weekly, monthly, custom)
• Attach to a payment link
• Vulta automatically sends payment reminders on schedule

Your client receives an email with the payment link at each interval. They pay. You receive crypto.

Analytics

Your dashboard shows:

• Total payments received
• Transaction count
• Conversion rates per link
• Per-link breakdown (views, payment initiations, completions)

Pro users see detailed per-link analytics including conversion funnel data.

Invoicing

Vulta generates professional PDF invoices for completed payments. After a client pays, open the transaction in your dashboard and download the invoice PDF — it includes your branding, invoice ID, amount, date, payment status, and a transaction reference. Ready to send to clients or file for accounting.

Webhooks

Business users can configure webhooks to receive real-time notifications when payments are confirmed. Vulta sends HMAC-signed POST requests to your endpoint for every payment event.

API Access
